"Halifax International Security Forum is a forum and a network for thoughtful and engaged decision-makers from governments, militaries, business, academia, and the media to work together to meet emerging threats in a changing world."

The 2013 Forum took place November 22–24 in Halifax, Nova Scotia and was attended by hundreds of participants from around the world including a US delegation made up of Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel and US Senator John McCain, along with other leaders.

Materials produced for the event included conference programs, agendas, signage, moleskine books, commemorative gala coins, step and repeats, bilingual logo lockups, volunteer handouts and more.

Inspiration was taken not only from the Forum's existing logo and Canadian symbol, the maple leaf, but also from Halifax specific imagery, like the iconic lighthouse at Peggy's Cove.

English and french versions of all collateral materials were created for the event.
